We can take care of your full accounting services that include book-keeping, payroll, management accounts, donors' reports, attending meeting, producing annual accounts and trustees report of Charity Commission. You decide what you want us to do, and we are very flexible to meet your fluctuating need. You can add more services or take way some element if your situation or funding environment changes.

We keep an electronic (pdf) copy of all accounting documents that we process, so in case you misplace any of your record then you can have a copy from us at no extra costs.
You attend our regular training events.
A customised process will be developed for your charity. However, broadly it works as follows;
Once you agree us to serve you, we shall spend adequate time at your office to understand not only the accounting but the organisational context and environment. We shall then write down the process to identify flow of documents and identify clear responsibilities. At the same will shall also revise or develop relevant forms required to process accounting information. You will normally send us documents on a regular interval (e.g. weekly, monthly etc) using our pre-addressed FREEPOST envelope. We shall process your data within two days that includes creating a pdf copy of all documents in our system. The original will be posted back to you along with summary report of data entered. Management Accounts will be sent to you along with other relevant information including an updated copy of full ledger within 5th day of next month. We shall also come to meet you on a regular interval agreed in advance. Off course, you can contact us anytime to clarify any issues related to our services. If we run your payroll, we shall send payslip along with the journal and reports monthly or weekly whichever agreed. Annual return to HMRC will be done free of charges.
We are using the most familiar software like QuickBooks, SAGE Line 50, MYOB and others. You don't have to invest in buying and purchasing software as well as relevant hardware.
It depends on your situation, and we are flexible. Some of the clients have in house staff, we are just filling the gaps and providing services in areas where in house skills and availability of staff is not adequate. In few situations, we are acting as a sounding board for the chief executive.
Our experiences and detailed research indicate that smaller charities do not get a good deal for their accounting services, and unnecessarily they end up paying far more compared the larger charities. These charities need a full range of accounting/financial skill to meet the increasing complex regulatory requirement but unable to employ staff with the range of skills, and often they do not require full-time staff. Therefore, our services are primarily aimed at smaller charities.
We normally carry out all work at our premise, which helps us to deliver the service at lower costs. However, if you require services to be carried out at your office, we can arrange that at a higher cost than our regular services.
We understand the concern. While we are carrying out activities away from your office that enable us to deliver services at lower costs, you can reach us any time. Moreover, we shall also come to meet you on a regular basis to ensure that we are fully familiar with your organisational environment and best services are provided to you.
We have been working in the charity sector for last twenty years and is fully familiar with the challenges specially the smaller charities facing. Our director has worked in various finance roles in a wide number of charities. During last five years while running finance director services for charities it was realised that smaller charities special needs are not being met, hence the development of Charities Accounting Services. We have a team of charity experienced account people ranging from Book-keeper, payroll and senior accountants. We have also a dedicated team of customer service staff including friendly receptionist. You will be more familiar with them once we establish the relationship.

We are physically based in south west London and indeed virtually with you all the time.
Once we sign the contract, you will be given a dedicated contact person with his/her direct telephone number. We shall also set up a dedicated email account for you as yourcharity[at]cas-live.com. Our contact person as well as other members of Charity Accounting Services team will have access this email to ensure speedy response.
We require two months notice period for cancellation to ensure a smooth hand over.
We are extremely confident of satisfying your requirements. During the first two months, if you are not satisfied with us you can cancel anytime. We guarantee not only to make a full refund of your two-month fee, but we shall also pay you an additional one month fee as our goodwill. After the initial two-month period, you can cancel our services with two months notice.
