We have decades of  working experience in the charity sector and found that while larger charities can afford all required financial skill, the smaller suffers most.  They often end up with accountants who don't understand the context of charity working environment.

Our Story

We have spent our whole professional life in the charity sector. Our director Golam Morshed started working with a grass root charity as frontline finance staff, gained experience in various roles upto finance director in a wide range of charities. Since leaving last finance director job, he set up consultancy to support charities in strategic financial managements. During last few years while mainly serving larger charities it was felt that the smaller (around 95% of the total number) charities practical financial services needs are unmet. Charity Accounting Services has been created in 2009  with a mission to make smaller charity life easier. Our team members are all experienced in charity finance  with skills ranging from book-keeper to finance director.  Besides our professional roles, we are actively involved with charities as trustees and other volunatrty capacities.
